From the team:

Plans are at an advanced stage to unify The Cyber Scheme, The Cyber Security Challenge and The Cyber Trust into one collaborative working entity, within the framework of a charitable trust status which will operate to support the industry into the future.

The Cyber Scheme will focus on training, examinations and ongoing assessments having been contracted to operate technical certification for the CHECK assured service scheme operated by The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

The Cyber Security Challenge will continue to engage and discover cyber security talent through competitions, games and events through an improved and expanded online presence.

The Cyber Trust identifies and supports individuals at risk of cyber crime in association with relevant organisations, providing training, raising awareness and undertaking vital research.

We are excited that this development will demonstrate a step change in the relationship between the cyber security industry and charity partners, aimed at supporting the wider online community as well as addressing a growing skills gap. We have created a PDF document outlining our plans and how we aim to achieve them here:
